METHODOLOGY

The ranking is based on what employees themselves reported in our anonymous Employee Survey about their workplace.

The goal of the survey was to see what obstacles employees face, which diversity interventions are used at their workplace, and which they find most effective for women.

These responses were reviewed for potential gender gaps. So if women, for example, rated an organization poorly on diversity, but non-minority groups rated it highly, we adjusted the company’s score accordingly.
